Paul’s background includes leadership roles in urban gardening, the organic food industry, and the green energy sector. Paul holds an MBA in Sustainable Management from the Presidio School of Management and is owner of Small Village Enterprises which imports delicious olive oil from his family’s grove in the Island of Crete, Greece.

Vanessa's background is in business development, sales operations, and marketing from her years of working in the service, global education and tech industries. She has deep experience in implementing circular systems at organizations ranging from mom-and-pop food trucks to fortune-500 corporate cafeterias. She specializes in communications and is passionate about making waves in the environmental industry.

Luis background is in building maintenance and sanitation. His passion for cleanliness and good housekeeping ensures that SPARKL’s reuse operations are always in SPARKLing order! Luis is a native of Honduras where he grew up appreciating the beautiful nature his native country has to offer. This has instilled an appreciation for the environment and an interest in helping to keep it clean.

Theo is a senior at Nea Community Learning Center in Alameda with a passion for film and a knack for everything tech. Theo has played a key role in the SPARKL business since its inception, from UX testing of apps and creating videos to engaging thousands of community members to try alternatives to single-use disposables. His contribution in front of and behind the scenes continues to be invaluable.

A Sonoma County native with a B.S. in Business Administration from Sonoma State University, Brendan combines his passion for social entrepreneurship with his commitment to environmental sustainability. Brendan grew up surrounded by a culture of environmental stewardship, which continues to inspire his work today in the green sector hoping to help make measurable impacts in our communities and the planet.
